Harvest
Our Harvest Collection
We have been learning about Harvest and the Harvest Festival. We talked about the important work that farmers do at this time of year and the different kinds of fruit and vegetables that are harvested. We looked at different vegetables such as potatoes, beetroot, carrots and onions and all the different things we could make using these vegetables such as crisps and chips. We then shared our favourite foods!
The children have also donated lots of different food items to our harvest collection. We talked about how it is important to be thankful for the food that we have and why it is also important to give to others in need. We then donated our harvest collection to our local food bank.
