Piet Mondrian

This week in nursery, we have been exploring the work of the famous artist Piet Mondrian! The children have been learning all about the primary colours, red, blue, and yellow and using them in their own creative artwork. We had lots of fun printing with squares and rectangles using paint. We also recreated Mondrian-inspired pieces using black lines and wax crayons. The children loved experimenting with shapes and colours and lines using a variety of different mark-making materials and tools.
